Based on a strong tradition that began more than 100 years ago at its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, the Harvard-affiliated Joslin Diabetes Center is one of the preeminent global leaders in clinical treatment, education and research.

Desert Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in Riverside County and one of two in California to offer a partnership with the world-leader in diabetes care. As a result, area residents now have convenient access to Joslin-based expertise in total diabetes treatment at this Palm Springs-based diabetes care clinic.
Progams and Services to Manage Your Illness
Our Diabetes Management and Patient Education Services, at Desert Regional Medical Center, are designed to help patients control their disease and may assist in decreasing the risk of long-term complications. Self-care management skills provide instruction to patients and family members on nutrition, exercise, medications, monitoring of blood glucose and ways to prevent typical complications such as those affecting the skin, feet, eyes, nerve endings and kidneys. Our diabetes specialists provide education services to patients with Type I and Type 2 Diabetes who need to increase their knowledge of the disease process.
