A legacy of caring for the Palms Springs community
Founded in 1948, Desert Regional Medical Center has long been a part of the Palm Springs community. This 385-bed tertiary acute-care hospital includes an emergency department that is the Coachella Valley’s only designated trauma center, serving patients from the San Gorgonio Pass to the Arizona border in Southeastern California.
You can take advantage of a comprehensive array of services at our Palms Springs medical center, including Emergency/Trauma Services, a Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Institute of Clinical Orthopedics and Neurosciences, the El Mirador Imaging Center, the Center for Weight Management, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.
In addition, Desert Regional has expanded three of its clinics– the cancer center, clinical orthopedics and neurosciences and the imaging center – to the La Quinta campus, further extending our reach to the eastern part of the Coachella Valley.
Desert Regional has received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, its highest level of certification, for its Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Advanced Congestive Heart Failure Program. The hospital also has the Coachella Valley’s only Joint Commission Certified programs in Hip- and Knee-Replacement and in Spine Surgery.
With a long legacy in Palm Springs, Desert Regional is committed to serving the health needs of you and your family. For more information, call (800) 491-4990.
