UC, Riverside School of Medicine Family Residency Program

The UC Riverside School of Medicine offers a Family Medicine Residency Program in Palm Springs. The program provides medical residents with the training needed to combine excellent patient care with compassion and leadership skills. The program is certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

UCR Health’s state-of-the-art family medicine clinic improves access to essential primary care in the Coachella Valley and is affiliated with Desert Regional. The clinic also works with several community organizations, including the Desert Healthcare District. One project puts a multidisciplinary team – a doctor, resident, nurse, social worker and security personnel – on the street to provide care and support for the homeless.
